June Fun

Our dirt cake day was a lot of fun.

Our trip to the Credit Union

Counting money

"Let us out!"

Forget computers, this is where the excitement was at.

A wonderful snack.

Check out our new shades that came in our bags!

The grade nines came to read us stories that they had written.

More shad pictures.

I always knew I spend my days with some cool dudes, this proves it:)

What happens if you put a bar of Ivory soap in the microwave for 40 seconds?

THIS... We broke off pices and wash our hands with it for snack and lunch time.  Pretty cool!

We had friendship salad as part of our social studies unit.

Washing up the dishes was almost as fun as eating it.

Working in the garden

Working up the soil

Tracing our bodies

We were going to paint them but as you can tell, it's a bit windy today

Time to plant some seeds

We had a special treat yesterday.  Brenden's dad came to share with us about his job.

We learned lots

How oysters grow.

How to open them.

Different sizes.

Brenden showed us how to eat an oyster.

Tools of the trade.

What a great day of learning!  Thank you to Brenden and his dad!

How boats go.

We learned lots about boats.

Even Mrs.Ready got in on the fun
